Kunchacko Boban has been roped in to play the lead in Sidharth Bharathan's upcoming flick Varnayathil Ashanka. The latest that we hear is the shoot of the film has been completed and this Kunchacko Boban starrer will hit the theatres on August 4, 2017.

The release date was announced by Kunchacko Boban himself through his official Facebook page. Take a look at the Facebook post of Kunchacko Boban. "Yamaha RX 100.....This one is still vintage stuff...kavtta Shivan had a helluva time on it..VARNYATHIL AASHANKA.....Aug 4th release," wrote Kunchacko Boban.

In the movie, Kunchacko Boban plays a tough role named Kavta Shivan, a character who never smiles. The film will not be a conventional single hero oriented subject. It goes through the village life of five characters essayed by Asif Ali, Chemban Vinod Jose, Suraj Venjaramood, Shine Tom Chacko and Sharafudeen. The film is produced by Ashiq Usman under his home production banner.
