The much spoken and written about clash of the titans Ajith and Vijay with their movies 'Thunivu' and 'Varisu' respectively will finally happen tomorrow January 11th. The two much awaited films will storm theaters from early morning shows with 'Thunivu' from 1 am and 'Varisu' from 4 am onwards in most cities and towns in Tamil Nadu.

In the meantime the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order banning early morning shows from January 13 to 16. It is also prohibited to put up tall banners in theatre premises and anoint them with milk which is usually done by hardcore fans on the first day first shows of films of their favorite heroes.

However fans of both Ajith and Vijay need not despair as the early morning shows are on for the first two days January 11 and 12. The order has garnered criticism from social activists who have been seeking the ban on all days.

'Thunivu' an out and out action entertainer is directed by H. Vinoth and stars Ajith and Manju Warrier in the lead roles. On the other hand 'Varisu' is touted as a wholesome family entertainer directed by Vamshi Paidipally and starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair.
