Thalapathy Vijay recently completed an important shooting schedule of his upcoming movie 'Varisu' in Vizag. A high octane fight scene in the harbour featuring actor Shaam was canned. Later an emotional hospital scene was shot in which Vijay, Prabhu and Sarathkumar participated.

Now actor Sarathkumar who plays Vijay's father in 'Varisu' has shared a photo from the sets and has updated that the action has now shifted to Hyderabad. It is said that this will also be a long schedule of close to three weeks.

'Varisu' is directed by Vamshi Paidipally with Thaman scoring the music and is banrolled on a grand scale by Dil Raju. The ensemble cast comprises of Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Shaam, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj, S.J. Suryah and Yogi Babu. The out and out family action entertainer is slated for release on Pongal 2023 in Tamil and Telugu.
