The much awaited trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' has just landed and has immediately fired up the internet thanks to Vijay fans who are propelling it to the top most trending topic instantly. As promised by most of the cast and crew members the two minutes twenty eight seconds clip promises a wholesome family entertainer.
Vijay is introduced as the youngest son of a super rich family headed by Sarathkumar and Jayasudha. The story itself seems a routine commercial one with the other two sons deserting the parents by the machinations of the villain (Prakash Raj) who wrecks the business empire. How the hero defeats the villain and not only restores the business but also the family is what one can draw as the story from the visuals. Whether there would be any surprises will be known in just a week's time when the film hits the screens worldwide on January 12th ahead of Pongal.
The 'Varisu' trailer shows that writer, director Vamshi Paidipally has depended solely on the charisma of Vijay. The 48 year old easily passes off as someone in his early thirties and charms his way in every frame. He has also mouthed a few punch lines that will have his fans going berserk. Rashmika Mandanna's cute presence especially in the glimpse of 'Ranjithame" is an eyeful.
On the whole the 'Varisu' trailer promises an out and out one man show from Vijay and seems to pin its hopes entirely on his magic to carry it through. Dil Raju's high production values, Thaman's vibrant music, Karthik Palani's colorfilled visuals are felt in the clip.
While Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna are the lead pair in 'Varisu' the all star ensemble cast has such big names as Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Shaam, S.J. Suryah, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Khusbhu, Samyuktha and VTV Ganesh.
