The Thalapathy fans are getting ready for a superduper Pongal next year as the films of these Kollywood superstars are clashing after many years. One of the biggest shocks that came to the fans about the release of these films is that Varisu producer getting ready to produce both films in Telugu.

Apparently, now two new producers have obtained the theatrical rights of Ajith’s Thunivu’s Telugu version which is likely to be titled “Tegimpu” here. It is still unknown if Dil Raju has helped these producers financially to get the movie rights.

But many are wondering if these two new producers will be able to fetch theatres for Ajith’s movie. And here Dil Raju is said to have dropped the idea of buying Thunivu. However, there are talks that Raju is likely to give backend support to the film for the release and already they are said to have secured theatres for the movie. But the reason for his opting out is still to be known.

Both Thunivu and Varisu have their own advantages in the market, particularly in Tamil Nadu. The box office will witness a fierce battle between fans wanting to crown their preferred celebrity as the most prosperous one. Vamshi Paidipally-directed Varisu features Rashmika Mandanna in addition to Vijay, whereas Thunivu is the third consecutive film that Ajith and H Vinoth have worked on together.
