Dil Raju is one of the renowned film producers in South India. Earlier this year, he delivered Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster 'Varisu' under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The studio is also bankrolling Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' helmed by ace director Shankar.

Now, Dil Raju has started a new film with the sensational actors Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. While the former earned Pan-Indian appeal with 'Arjun Reddy', the latter cemented her place through 'Sita Ramam'. Director Parasuram of 'Geetha Govindam' fame is reuniting with Vijay Deverakonda for this upcoming project.

The untitled movie, 'VD13', went on the floors today with a muhurat puja. The pics from the launch ceremony are now doing rounds on the internet. This movie will have music composed by Gopi Sundar and DOP by KU Mohanan. As of now, this project is said to be a Telugu venture. We have to wait and see if it is dubbed into other languages. More details awaited.

Vijay Deverakonda shared a video of the film's launch while Mrunal penned a joyous note on starting the new movie and posted photos from the event. She wrote, "The first step in a very exciting journey...It's my 1st time working with @srivenkateswaracreations and I'm really thrilled to be sharing the screen with @thedeverakonda Can't wait for the shoot to begin ✨" (sic).
