Thalapathy Vijay' 'Varisu' one of the most awaited films by all sections of the audiences was the first to announce its release date several months ago as Pongal 2023. Since Ajith Kumar's 'Thunivu' and Chiranjeevi's 'Walter Veeraiya' also locked the same date there were speculations regarding the release of the film that caused stress to Thalapathy fans. However producer Dil Raju put all rumours to rest by confirming that the family entertainer will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as planned with the maximum number of theaters all over the country.
Now to add to the frenzy Seven Screen Studios which has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of 'Varisu' has unveiled a stunning new poster to confirm the release of the movie 'Varisu' for Pongal next year. In the poster, Vijay is seen chilling atop a rugged vehicle and holding a tea glass stylishly in his hand. Needless to add that the Thalapathy fans have gone berserk making it viral instantly.
Further a huge hoarding has come up at the Sathyam Theaters premises in Chennai which is considered the premier hub for movie goers. The signal is clear that the 'Varisu' carnival has already begun and pre release hype is going to be something never seen before according to trade anaylsts. It is already reported that the second single will arrive in a week's time followed by the grand audio launch on December 24th at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally stars Vijay, Rashmika Mandana, Prabhu, Srikanth, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Meena, Khusbhu, Samyukta, Prakashraj, and S.J. Suryah among others. Thaman is scoring the music and already the first single 'Ranjithame' sung by Vijay has become a monster hit. Karthik Palani is incharge of the cinematography while Praveen KL is handling the editing.
