Thalapathy Vijay is currently getting ready for Varisu Pongal as the bilingual movie is rumoured to release on Pongal 2023. The latest update reveals that Diwali will also be taken over by Varisu as the team is planning to release the first single on Diwali eve.

Thalapathy Vijay has joined hands with Vamsi of Thozha fame for a Bilingual movie. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the read role. Touted to be a family entertainer, the film also has other veteran actors like Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Khushbu, Ganesh Venkatraman.

The red-hot update about this movie is that, the team is planning to release the much anticipated first single on 23rd of October, which is on Diwali eve. Though an official announcement from the team is awaited, fans are getting ready for a mass Varisu first single Diwali.

Thaman scores music for the movie and Dil Raju is producing the venture. The film is on track for a Pongal 2023 release. Recent speculations hint that Ajith Kumar's 'AK61' might join the Pongal race taking on Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu'.
