Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' is all set to release in theaters worldwide on Pongal 2023 with January 12th the most likely date. The grand audio launch will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on December 24th at 6pm. Now the big buzz doing the rounds is that actor Raju Jeyamohan has been roped in to host the event.

Raju the title winner of 'Bigg Boss Tamil 5' has also hinted the same on his social media page. Reports say that the entire cast and crew of the film plus top celebrities wil be attending alongwith thousands of Thalapathy Vijay fans. Already the two songs "Ranjithamey" and 'Thee Thalapathy" from 'Varisu' are recordbreaking chartbusters and those in the know swear that the entire album will rock.

'Varisu' is directed by Vamshi Paidipally with Thaman scoring the music and Dil Raju producing on a grand scale under his banner Sree Venkateswara Creations. Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna are the lead pair with a stellar supporting cast that comprises of Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Meena, Shaam, Srikanth and Yogi Babu among others.
