Senior actor Sarathkumar, currently waiting for the release of Varisu alongside Thalapathy Vijay, was hospitalised in Chennai following a sudden deterioration in his health condition.

Reports claimed Sarath Kumar had been suffering from diarrhoea for the past two days. His health, however, deteriorated further on Sunday due to dehydration. While there is no official statement on the actor's health so far, it is claimed that his condition is now stable. His wife, famous actor Radhika, and his daughter, actor Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, are reported with him in the hospital.

However, there is no update from the family members regarding his health condition. The hospital authorities also haven’t released any medical bulletin about his health condition. His fans on the other hand are wishing him a speedy recovery.

On the work front, Sarathukumar has Varisu waiting for release. Directed by Vamshi Padipally the film has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role and Rashmika Mandanna playing the lead lady. Sarath Kumar is playing a crucial role in this movie.
