Famous actress Varalakxmi Sarathkumar met actor and Chennai Chepauk constituency MLA Udayanidhi in person and has donated two tons of food items.

Varalakxmi is one of the famous actresses in the Tamil film industry. She is active on social networking sites and also runs an organization called Save Shakti for women. It is also notable that she is an animal activist and has been raising awareness through her social networking sites on feeding stray animals during curfew.

Varalakxmi along with her mother recently met MLA Udayanithi Stalin and donated 2 tons animal food through her Save Sakti Foundation. Following which she was also issued a certificate on behalf of the State government.

She posted the photos of the certificate and wrote, "Thank you so much Udhaystalin for meeting with saveshakthi , launching our covid helpline and accepting our 2 ton food for the stray animals on behalf of the government."

On a professional note she is currently working on films like 'Pamban', Pirandhal Parasakthi', 'Colours' and many more.
