After CM, Varalaxmi now meets a Central Minister in Delhi

Earlier this week, young heroine Varalaxmi had met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to put forth the two main demands of her Save Sakthi Campaign to ensure safety of women. ALSO READ: Popular Tamil heroine meets Tamil Nadu CM

On Tuesday, the 'Tharai Thappattai' actress flew to New Delhi and met P.P.Chodhary, the Union Minister of State for Law & Justice Department. The actress submitted a petition requesting the minister to do the needful at the earliest to create special Mahila Courts in every district across the country to speed up the cases against the perpetrators of crimes against women and ensure speedy judgement.

Addressing media persons after the meetingm Varalaxmi said that the minister has assured to send a letter to the Chief Ministers of all the states insisting them to look into this request.
