Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had a happening 2018, as she had multiple releases in the form of Sandakozhi 2, Sarkar, besides also debuting on small screens with her talk show in Jaya TV, Unnai Arindhaal.

After appearing in antagonist characters throughout 2018 and making a mark, this year will have Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing lead roles, and she has a number of female centric projects in her kitty. She is currently starring in Neeya 2 with Jai, Velvet Nagaram, Raja Parvai and Kanni Raasi.

Now, the actress has begun yet another project which will revolve around her character. Titled Danny, the movie which began shoot yesterday is directed by debutant Santhana Moorthy will be bankrolled by cinematographer PG Muthiah, and will also star Vela Ramamoorthy, Yogi Babu and Anita Sampath in important roles, and will have music by Santhosh Dhayanidhi.
