Varalakshmi the busiest young actress in Kollywood currently has released a video in which she shares her extreme happiness in starring in a pivotal role in Thalapathy Vijay's Diwali release 'Sarkar'. She has stated that when she entered the film industry she had four dreams which were sharing screenspace with Vijay, acting in a movie for which A.R. Rahman has composed the music, to be directed by A.R. Murugadoss and featuring in a Sun Pictures project.

Varalakshmi has shared that all her four dreams have come to fruition in one movie which is 'Sarkar'. She has lauded director A.R. Murugadoss as a very sweet person like whom she has never seen another. The intense actress has requested fans to watch the film in theaters and not on pirated versions.

Varalakshmi is part of more than half a dozen films apart from 'Sarkar' that include 'Maari 2', 'Sandakozhi 2', 'Velvet Nagaram', 'Raja Paarvai', 'Kanni Raasi' and 'Shakthi'. She is also in talks to star as V.K. Sasikala in the Jayalalitha biopic directed by Priyadarshini.
