Varalakshmi Sarathkumar to use official power against Dhanush

Dhanush's 'Maari 2' directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Wunderbar Films is progressing at a brisk pace with Tovino Thomas and  Krishna participating in the current schedule.  Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a grey shaded role in the film and her character has just been revealed.

According to sources close to the team, Varu would be enacting a district collector in 'Maari 2' and will lock horns with the local don Dhanush.  Scenes between the two are said to be full of fireworks.  The film has Sai Pallavi as Dhanush's love interest and Robo Shankar reprising his role of the sidekick from the original.
