Not seen so far in the 11 years of Sri Varadappa annual awards, four doctor daughters of Varadappa – Latha, Brinda, Usha and Asha on stage at the 12th year of awards presentation on a request by senior photographer R Manohar. That was a memorable photo indeed because two daughters of Dr Rajakumar – Lakshmi and Poornima also joined the stage at the awards evening.

Four daughters of Sri Varadappa announced Rs.25000 each to the two recipients of Varadappa awards – Prathibha Narayan and MS Umesh. The annual Varadappa awards carry cash prize of Rs.10000. from this year it is addition of Rs.25000 each to the achievers selected by Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa and team.

Doddahullur Rukkoji national award winner for his books on Dr Rajakumar has managed the show with his experience and ability.
