Denying reports which claimed that Jeeva starrer ' Vanthaan Ventraan' is inspired by Bollywood's 'I Hate Love Stories', director of the film Kannan has said the Tamil film is scripted by him and it has no connections to the Hindi movie.

"Vanthaan Ventraan' is totally different to ‘I Hate Love Stories’. The script is totally mine and it has no shades of ‘IHLS’. Anyone can feel this after watching the movie", he says.

Differentiating between 'VV' and 'IHLS', Kannan says, "The Hindi film was a romantic comedy while mine is a romantic entertainer which is an action thriller too. It's a full-length commercial movie".

Kannan, who had the pooja for 'VV' recently, will be shooting for the film from September 20. The film produced by K S Srinivasan has Tapsee opposite Jeeva. His last film was 'Kanden Kadhalai', which was a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Jab We Met'.
