Vanitha Vijayakumar has shared that her younger daughter Jonitha has attained puberty. She has emotionally written "My little angel becomes a woman..daughters the most precious in the universe" and has shared a photo of them both clicked during the fuction.

Vanitha Vijayakumar who debuted as heroine in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Chandralekha' also paired with Rajkiran in 'Manickam' but quit the industry after marrying actor Akash. The couple had a son and a daughter but divorced in 2012.

Vanitha then married AP-based businessman Anand Jayarajan and has a daughter Jonitha but the couple separated due to marital discord. Jonitha who lived with her father , after a long legal battle opted to join her mother and started living with her in 2019.

When Vanitha was in 'Bigg Boss 3' house Anandarajan filed a complaint that she had kidnapped Jonitha and the police interrogated her in the house. She was not arrested as her daughter told the cops that she came to her mother on her own free will and wanted to stay with her.
