Vanitha Vijayakumar who has acted in movies such as the Vijay starrer Chandralekha and Rajkiran starrer Manickam returned to limelight via the popular reality game show  Bigg Boss 3 hosted by Kamal Haasan.  She had since then been occupied with various television shows, and her own YouTube channel.

Recently it was officially announced by Vanitha  that she is getting married to filmmaker Peter Paul on June 27 which is incidentally her parents Manjula and Vijayakumar's wedding day.  

Today, Vanitha and Peter Paul got married and photos of the happy couple from the wedding venue, exchanging rings and pouring the champagne are making rounds in social media. Earlier, Vanitha's daughters Jovika and Jaynitha also expressed their happiness about their mother's marriage and Vanitha and Peter Paul tattooed each other's names on their hands.
