Vanitha Vijayakumar in a press meet at the Vadapalani police station slammed Kasthuri, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Nanjil Vijayan, and Ravindar for criticizing her wedding with Peter Paul. She also revealed that she had lodged a police complaint against all four and they have to appear in person and face the legal action. Earlier on Wednesday night Surya Devi who was regularly uploading videos in abusive language against Vanitha was arrested and appeared before a magistrate this afternoon and got bail.

Meanwhile a photo of Vanitha sharing a drink and seated close to an elderly man went viral. Vanitha has clarified that the person is a close friend of hers and his wife was seated next to him but those who leaked the pic on the internet cropped her out. She said that even his wife was not in the scene she has every right to sit close to her friend.

Vanitha further added that she has told in many interactions that she trusts men more than women and she has a lot of friends. She also said that with the exception of her father Vijayakumar brother Arun Vijay and sisters Preetha and Sreedevi every relative from both her father and mother's side is in touch with her and support her.
