Vanitha Vijayakumar through a long video statement has confirmed that she has split from Peter Paul whom she married according to Christian customs on June 27th. The reason she has stated is that his addiction to tobacco and alcohol has gone beyond control and has also rendered an apology to Peter's first wife Elisabeth Helen asking her to try and reunite with him. Social media users are pointing out that while Vanitha was recording her speech on camera a man's voice is heard from behind prompting her to say the words "I will succeed in my life" (in Tamil) at the time of 43.10 to 43.12 in the footage.
Other users on the net are speculating that the man whose voice is heard is that of Vanitha's advocate about whom she has also spoken highly of in the same video.
