Popular actress and 'Bigg Boss' star Vanitha Vijayakumar got married to filmmaker Peter Paul on Saturday, June 27th according to Christian customs. Vanitha's two daughters served as the bridesmaids and the groom kissed the bride and also champagnes were opened. The couple kissing has become a topic of controversy and Peter Paul's wife too had stated in her interviews that it could adversely influence children who watch it on YouTube.

Peter Paul's first wife Elisabeth Helen has lodged a complaint that the marriage between her husband and Vanitha is not legal as they have not divorced yet. The actress has responded that she would face the issue legally and has countered that its a ploy to extort money.
