Legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam passed away on Saturday the 25th of September after battling COVID 19 induced lung disease for close to two months. His last rites were held at his Thamaraipakkam farmhouse where celebrities including Thalapathy Vijay and thousands of fans paid homage.
Actress and Television personality Vanitha Vijayakumar has recalled how she used to force Thalapathy Vijay to sing an SPB song when they shot together for her debut film 'Chandralekha'.
Vanitha has tweeted "I still remember how many times I used to ask @actorvijay to sing malare mounama song to me....he used to give me a nasty look coz I bugged him so much but sweetly sang it for me...memories #SPBalasubrahmanyam"
Vanitha and Vijay share a close friendship since childhood and photos of Vijay bonding with Vanitha and her son Vijay Sri Hari when he was a little boy have gone viral.
