Get ready to welcome Jackie Shroff in Tamil. The popular star in Bollywood is all set to appear in Tamil for a movie titled Vangi. What more, the movie would also feature Rahul Dev, Manisha Koirala and Abbas.

Vangi is the Tamil version of a bilingual (being made simultaneously in Hindi) by producer Gogandi Sathyam.

The movie is directed by Ramaseshu, who has also penned the script, storyline and dialogues. Chinni Saran will score the music.

The shooting for the movie would commence soon and would be shot in Hyderabad, Chennai, Ooty and Mumbai. Says Ramaseshu, 'The movie is about a group of men, who plans to rob a bank to become rich.'

According to Ramaseshu, 'Plans are on to rope in popular Hindi actress Riya Sen and Raghuvaran. It's a thriller. It would have all suspense elements to bring audiences to their seat edges', says Ramaseshu.
