On Tuesday, actor Vijay had given a bold and detailed account of his opinion on Indian PM Narendra Modi's Demonetization announcement. While hailing the move to curb black money, the much loved star had opined that its side-effects that have caused a lot of hardships to common people could have been foreseen and avoided with proper planning.

Reacting to Vijay's comments, Vanathi Srinivasan, the Vice President of Tamil Nadu State unit of the ruling BJP party has invited Vijay to join hands with party and help the poor people.

"As you (Vijay) care about the travails of poor people please come and join hands with our party which has been working primarily to help them and improve their life conditions.

I also request that film industry celebrities and politicians should distribute their excess wealth to the poor people. Those who were naming the BJP Government as pro-rich are now astonished due to this move. Our Prime Minister Modi is solely responsible for the increase of money inflow in the bank accounts of poor people.

I wish to point out to Mr.Vijay that the present political scenario of Tamil Nadu is apt for him to join politics and work for the upliftment of the poor people by joining hands with the BJP."

We will have to wait to know what will be the next move of Vijay. Whether he will react to this call or just ignore it?

It is a well known fact that Vijay who commands a tremendous fan following among all sections of the people of the state. A large section of his fans have been expecting him to take his star power to the next level by joining politics.
