Damn Damn:
A slow party female solo mix crooned by Manasi and Sherin is a coming of age song talks much on how women have changed and upped their style quotient. To keep in trend with the lyrics, Harris has clubbed the song like a slow party number that gives enough room for the vocals and hollow bass to drive home the point of view. Overall, you have heard so many of these songs alike before but still hear it for its humorous lyrics.
Yemma Yea Alagama:
Bombay Jaysree has been a long time customer of Harris and is back with a sensational melody in Yemma. A graceful vocals can do wonders and this is song is one good example of it. With subtle orchestration of reverting bass drumming and a beautiful Yemma chorus, the song is sure a good number to get you hooked. The lyrics talk of how a lovely girl falls for a man who has changed over time and the chorus just does its trick.
Silu Silu:
Harris tries to give a tour of the forest with interesting instrumentation, while the heavily accented vocals is simply mesmerizing some how the overall song does not gives you a proper grip. The lyrics will leave you in awestruck for it craves on the beauty of the forestland. The minimal table and strings are good enough but somehow the saranam does not strike to the vibe.
Pachai Uduthiya Kadu:
Yet another attempt to revive the magic of forest, probably the visuals should do better justification. The track has some lovely lyrics from Karky and thanks Abhay and Harini drives home to beauty of nature. With melodious flute setting and lighter guitar Pachai Uduthiya is one for the long drives through the nature.
Morada Morada:
A freakishly energetic track has Harris’s stereotype all over, in a good way. What happens when the jungle man visits the town? It definitely needs a peppy number with modernized string setup and ample guitar, of course with some chorus. Benny and Krish have done their part rather well, the rigid vocals blend well initially and as usual slows down between the interludes.
Vanam Theme:
Harris has done his bit of research, capturing jungle sounds along with the local tribal vibe into this theme. Extensive Flute orchestration and the typical tribal jargon is all over the theme along with extensive clap bass, an intelligent outlook indeed. As you hear you start feeling the jungle atmosphere very much.
Verdict : Harris gives us a tour of the forest
