After the back to back success of Viswasam and Ner Konda Paarvai in 2019, Thala Ajith's next movie is going to be Valimai, an action entertainer directed by his Ner Konda Paarvai director H Vinoth.

Valimai is said to feature Ajith as a police officer and will have numerous action sequences and risky stunts which is always the USP of Ajith movies. The movie will have Kaala fame Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi as the female lead and music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

While the shooting of Valimai is now on a pause due to the pandemic, it has been revealed that Valimai will have actor Raj Ayyappa who debuted in Atharvaa’s 100 directed by Sam Anton playing Ajith’s younger brother. Raj Ayyappa is the son of actor Bhanu Prakash, who had acted with Ajith in his debut Amaravati.
