An unexpected ‘Valimai’ update from actress takes Thala Ajith fans to cloud nine

Thala Ajith fans are always hungry for ‘Valimai’ updates and recently they made history by asking the same from even the chief minister and prime minister during their campaign for the assembly elections. Producer Boney Kapoor had announced that the first look will be unveiled on Thala’s birthday which fell on May 1st but owing to the coronavirus pandemic the event was postponed to a later date.

It was we who brought to you an exclusive update on ‘Valimai’ in our interview with actress Janaki of ‘November Story’ fame who is playing the role of Ajith’s sister in law in the movie.  She gushed about how Thala Ajith made a newcomer like her feel at home during the shoots and also cooked and served hot soup to the entire crew during cold night shoots.

Now another actress Sangeetha who is playing an important character in ‘Valimai’ has opened up about the film as well.  She states that the getup that Thala Ajith has donned is something never before seen in his career. According to her, the charismatic mass hero has reduced around ten to fifteen kgs weight to nail his character which is the major highlight.  She also added that the director and crew who saw ninety percent of the completed film are elated by the way it has shaped up.

Sangeetha has acted in noticeable roles in ‘Parris Jayaraj’, ‘Master’ and ‘Sulthan’ and has stated that her happiest moment is acting in Thala Ajith’s ‘Valimai’.  The film directed by H. Vinod is produced by Boney Kapoor with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Ajith and Huma Qureshi play the lead pair while Yogi Babu, Pearle Maaney and Karthikeyan play important characters.
