Thala Ajith one of the biggest names in South Indian cinema is known for his dedication to his work and also balancing it with his family life and pursuing other passions that he has. His new movie 'Valimai' is the most awaited upcoming Tamil movie not only by his fans but also the theater owners who are depending on it to attract audiences after Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master'.

It is said that Thala Ajith has taken a few strong decisions on many aspects of 'Valimai' keeping in mind his fans and also his producer, distributors and especially theater owners. Knowing that his fans are eagerly awaiting for an update Ajith is said to have instructed the team to get the first look ready for release on Thursday before his birthday which falls on May 1st. The audio launch, teaser and trailer will follow at regular intervals after that leading up to the release of the film.

The release of 'Valimai' is planned for August this year and accordingly wanting his fans to have their festive celebrations he has insisted that under any circumstance the film will first release in theaters.

The producers of 'Master' released the film on Amazon Prime Video within 16 days of theatrical release. However, Thala has made sure that 'Valimai' will go to OTT only after a montha a week so as theater owners can get the maximum revenue from the film. The entire industry is now praising the mass hero for his strong decisions.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has Ajith and Huma Qureshi as the lead pair with Yogi Babu and Karthikeya in important characters. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer while Nirav Shah is handling the camera.
