Whoa! The government finally gives a ‘Valimai’ update rocking the internet

It is a well-known fact that Thala Ajith fans dominate the social media space and their single agenda is to get official updates on their hero’s upcoming movie ‘Valimai’.  There were many instances when the hardcore Thala fans went to the extent of asking for updates to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu during his election campaigns and even Prime Minister Modi during his recent visit.

Thala Ajith then released a statement that his fans should control their urge and informed them that he and the producers will decide when to give the ‘Valimai’ updates and till then the fans should refrain from asking unconnected persons.  The fans who abide by what the box office king says have largely stopped asking public figures.

However, as a surprise, the Election Commission’s Tamil Nadu wing has put up a campaign regarding the importance of voting in Tamil using the word ‘Valimai’ (might) to emphasize how important each vote is in deciding the future rulers of the state.

The Tiruppur District collector Vijayakarthikeyan IAS who is known for his social media presence has posted the picture using the ever trending hashtags  #Valimai and  #ValimaiUpdate to cleverly get the social message to the maximum reach as possible.  And he has succeeded judging by the likes and retweets from Thala fans.
