Man who threw petrol bomb at Ajith's 'Valimai' theater arrested

Ajith Kumar's action thriller 'Valimai' released worldwide on February 24th amidst huge expectations and though it recieved mixed reviews it flying high at the box office. On the first day of the film mysterious persons who came in a two-wheeler in the early hours of the morning threw petrol bombs at the famous Ganga Theater in Coimbatore.

One Ramachandran, who was in the premises was injured in the leg and a two wheeler was damaged due to the bombing. The Kattoor police registered a case and started investigation with the CCTV footage in the area. The police have arrested Lakshmanan hailing Payalankottai in Nellai who was staying in the Rathnapuri area of Coimbatore and working as a painter.

Lakshmanan confessed that he went eagerly to watch 'Valimai' on the 24th and one Naveen a Ajith Fans Club member was selling tickets at a very high price which he couldnt afford. Upset that he could not watch the film on the first day and first show he along with other friends threw the petrol bombs at the theater. The cops are also investigating others who are involved.
