Actor Ajith, who was last seen on screen in the superhit movie Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview projects LLP has joined hands with the same director and producer for his next movie Valimai.

Valimai is said to be an action thriller planned in a grand scale and the movie will have Ajith playing a police officer and Kaala fame Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi will play the female lead and Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda plays the villain.

Now it has been revealed that Valimai will have a pan Indian release and will be having a simultaneous release of a Hindi dubbed version too, making it the first Ajith movie to have simultaneous release in Tamil and Hindi. Earlier Ajith was seen in Hindi in Shahrukh Khan's Asoka and was seen in the Tamil version of Sridevi's English Vinglish. Valimai directed by H Vinoth is expected to release in summer 2021.
