Ajith Kumar starrer 'Valimai' directed by H Vinoth is the most-awaited film in the Tamil industry now and a special featurette comprising the BTS making clips of breathtaking action sequences of the thriller was released recently. The promising filmmaker has shared some exclusive details about the biggie in a recent interaction with an entertainment portal.

When asked about the origin of Valimai, H Vinoth revealed that he conceived the idea for the script inspired by true incidents and scripted the story with another hero in his mind. He said, "This was the second script that I’d done, and it was for another hero. I had a different version of this story. It was not a cop story then."

However, Vinoth didn't share who is the other actor for whom he crafted the original script. The filmmaker also added that he didn't compromise anything in writing when the superstar actor Ajith Kumar entered the script and just toned up the plot. Valimai is slated to hit the screens worldwide as a Pongal treat to the fans.

Other than AK, Valimai Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Bani, Sumithra, Yogi Babu, Achyunth Kumar, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh among others. The film has been written and directed by H Vinoth. It has been co-produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music while Nirav Shah wielded the lens.
