Saptagiri's character lives in a village and this village has so many problems. He is no Maharshi and so he resorts to fakery, thievery and more for the larger good. A temple, the hero turning into a fake sadhu to hoodwink the gullible, a diamond that can bring fortune to whoever owns it, a ruthless feudal lord who is after it, so on and so forth.

'Vajra Kavachadhara Govinda', directed by Arun Pawar, packs these elements within the mould of a comedy. Its hero, a consciously funny one at that, can do superstar hero's stunts if the need be. There are rib-tickling songs, there are fantasy elements, there are also comical punchlines.

Starring Vaibhavi Joshi as the heroine, the film also features Srinivas Reddy and other comedians.

With music by Bulganin, the film is all set to hit the screens on June 14.
