Vaishnav Tej's debut movie won't release on OTT

Vaishnav Tej Panga, brother of Sai Dharam Tej and nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan decided to debut as an actor with his film, Uppena. Vijay Sethupathy acted as antagonist in the film.
Buchi Babu directed the movie and Sukumar produced it along with Mythri Movie Makers. The movie lead actress Kriti Shetty became famous after the trailers and song teasers from the film have come out.
The Movie is said to be a teenage rural love story and songs of Devi Sri Prasad have already become popular from the film. The film team towed with idea of releasing the film on OTT platforms as they missed the April date.
They have confirmed that the movie has all the potential to recover money from theatrical release whenever it releases. Also, they spent 18 crores on the film and hence, they don't think OTT release will recover such amount. So, they have decided against OTT premiere of the film and they will wait till theatres open up in the future, it seems.
