RJ Cinemas Banner, which has earlier produced romantic-comedies like 'Premalo Pavani Kalyan', 'Chantigadu' and 'Lovely', is ready with a new-age rom-com: It's 'Vaishakham'.

BA Raju is producing this film in the direction of dynamic lady director Jaya B, with Hareesh and Avantika playing the lead roles.

The film has completed its shooting part and is currently undergoing its post-production work. On the occasion of Valentine's Day on February 14, the team has shared updates about the film.

Jaya B says, "Vaishakham will portray love in a new dimension. 'Vaishakha' month is very special for us. This is a season of marriages. Lord Venkateswara married Padmavathi in this season. 'Vaishakham' is a love story set in the backdrop of a family. How a girl changes the life of a boy and how their love story leads to marriage comprises the story of 'Vaishakham'."

Producer BA Raju says, "Most of our films, be it 'Premalo Pavani Kalyan', 'Chantigadu' or 'Gundamma Gari Manavadu', are village-based love stories. Our previous film 'Lovely' is an urban-based love story. We mostly made love stories in our banner and all of them are successful. The shooting part is completed and post-production works are going on. We are getting very good business offers. We are planning to release the film in April as summer special."

Hero Hareesh says, "It is very challenging to do a film like 'Vaishakham'. My character has different variations. I feel lucky to be a part of such a beautiful film.
