Star PRO and producer BA Raju is a respected figure in Telugu film industry. He began his illustrious career as a journalist, and has gone on to become Tollywood's most sought-after PRO. A few years ago, he turned into a producer, and making films of good taste and healthy entertainment is his idea.

"It was Mohan Kumar garu who was my guru in journalism. But if I came into the film industry, it's because of Superstar Krishna garu. After working as a journalist for 12 years with publications such as 'Andhra Bhoomi' and 'Shivaranjani', I established the film magazine 'Super Hit' 24 years ago. I have been a producer for 15 years now. After all these years, it feels like just about 3-4 years because I like my work," he says.

BA Raju believes in working every day. "I always want to work with a lot of energy. I have been a PRO of many star movies. As a producer, I want to make story-based movies. But I will never direct a movie, as I know how difficult it is," he adds.

His next movie is 'Vaisakham', directed by his wife B Jaya. "Even before its release, I am planning to launch another movie, whose pre-production works are currently going on. I am hopeful that 'Vaisakham' will be deemed the best movie ever made under my banner. B Jaya garu is the reason for my success," BA Raju signs off.
