Dynamic lady director B Jaya`s new film 'Vaishakam', produced by BA Raju on RJ Cinemas banner, has entered the last leg of its shoot. The producer has said that the last schedule has started on the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi.

Director B Jaya says, 'After 'Lovely' in 2012, I wanted to deliver another super hit and waited for the right subject. 'Vaisakham' is one such subject. A family entertainer with the right mix of entertainment and sentiment, its story takes place in the backdrop of apartments. The songs shot in Kazakhstan will be major highlight for the film'. This one is the first South Indian film to be shot in the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan.

Recently, the music director DJ Vasanth said that, both visually and music-wise, the songs will be a major highlight.

Speaking about the business offers the film has been getting, producer BA Raju said, 'Jaya's films - namely, 'Chantigadu', 'Gundamma Gari Manavadu', 'Lovely', etc were all hits and brought profits to buyers. Therefore, the buyers are showing tremendous excitement. Also keeping in mind the publicity I do for my films as a producer, there are exciting offers coming my way. This is small film being made on a large scale. We are confident that the film made with high technical values will be twice as big a hit as 'Lovely'. What is also a very reassuring is that we are also getting good offers from overseas as well'.

Starring Harish and Avantika in lead roles, 'Vaisakham' also has 'Dialogue King' Saikumar in an important role. Eshwari Rao, Rama Prabha, Kasi Vishwanath, Prudhvi, Krishna Bhagwan, Sri Lakshmi, Gundu Sudharshan, Bhadram, Sompu, Phani, Madhavi, Jenny, Jabardast Team Venki, Shridhar, Ram Prasad, Prasad, Teja, Lateesh, Shruti Naidu, Kalyani, Kumari, Monika, Chandini, Ishani are playing other important roles.

Cinematography is by Valishetty Venkata Subba Rao. Dance choreography is by VJ Sekhar. Art direction is by Murali Kondeti. Stills are by Srinu. Amaraneni Naresh is the co-director. B Jaya herself has written the film.
