Chinmayi's shocking accusations of sexual misconduct by Vairamuthu when she was a teenager and later on a foreign tour is having Kollywood in a tizzy. Though Vairamuthu has denied the issues and has stated that he is ready to face any number of court cases the controversies refuse to die down./

Malini Yugendran the wife of popular singer-actor Yugendran has thrown a fresh set of allegations on Vairamuthu through a video stating that while she worked for a television channel the lyricist spoke inappropriately to a 18 year old girl. Malini has however made it clear that he only spoke in a wrong way but did not physically abuse the said girl. She has gone on to further claim that she has been speaking against Vairamuthu for the past ten years on stages where she has allegedly emphasized that she admired the veteran's Tamil proficieny but not his personal behaviours.
