Vairamuthu has opened up about the sex torture allegations against him by Chinmayi by a social media post in Tamil.  He has stated that "It has become a culture now to sling mud on celebrities all over India.  In recent times I have been repeatedly insulted in various issues and this too is one such instance.  I will not react to anything that is untrue.  Time will reveal the truth".  

Chinmayi has just posted the word "LIAR" to Vairamuthu's statement on twitter. And stands by her words "To EVERYONE who will debate about me on channels - whether you slut shame me or call me names Vairamuthu is a sexual predator. I will take this to my grave. And to Tamil channels who wouldnt even carry a ticker OR report, wanting a byte *after* Delhi news channels. No.".
