Vaiko's take on Rajinikanth's political entry

With Superstar Rajinikanth set to reveal his decision on entering politics on December 3, the actor's fan base and the state's political fraternity is eagerly awaiting the announcement.

Regarding this, Vaiko of Marumalartchi Dravida Munnetra kazhagam has stated that the star has been in politics since his opinion on Jayalalithaa in 1996 that her rule will only end on a bad note for the state. Vaiko who also cited the star's analogy of politics compared to war and how strategy is of paramount importance. 

"It is his (Rajinikanth's) democratic right to participate in politcs. Rajini is a good friend of mine and I respect him," Vaiko said.
