Vadivelu's manager commits suicide

Popular comedian Vadivelu's manager allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday at his Vadapalani residence in Chennai.

Veluchami (53) was employed by the comedian for a very long time and was staying in Pillayar Koil Street, Vadapalani. According to reports Veluchami was suffering from diabetes and other ailments.

The reports also said that Vadivelu tried reaching Veluchami over the phone this morning but in vain. Following this, the actor called up another person who lived close to his manager's house and asked him to convey a message.

When the neighbor went to Veluchami's place, he was shocked to see him hanging from the ceiling. He immediately informed the police and Vadivelu.

Police moved the body to the Royappettah Government Hospital for postmortem.

Speaking to reporters, Vadivelu said, 'he has helped me a lot during my crisis hours and has been a very great support for me. I am sure to miss him a lot'.
