Vadivelu & Udhayanidhi in ‘Maamannan’ trailer: Mari Selvaraj’s craft looks ambitious and intense!

We all know that Udhayanidhi Stalin joined forces with acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj for the ambitious project ‘Maamannan’. The film’s official trailer is out now and the wait is over as we get a glimpse at the world of Maamannan which also features Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh.

The 3-minute-long video opens with Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu’s spirited monologue followed by the introduction of the characters of Udhay, Fahadh and Keerthy. We can see a lot of Mari Selvaraj’s signatures like Buddha, country dogs, and horses. Vadivelu and Udhay are seen as the father-son duo battling against oppression while Fahadh Faasil plays a ruthless politician and Keerthy Suresh plays an activist.

It is evident from the trailer that Maamannan is an intense action-packed drama. AR Rahman’s background score sounds subtle yet scintillating. Theni Eswar’s cinematography and Selva RK’s cuts are great additions to the film’s craft. The release date of Maamannan is officially announced as June 29th in the trailer.
