The latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Vadivelu has opted out of the movie 'Padikathavan' in which Dhanush plays the lead role.

The movie brings together Dhanush and director Suraj. The latter was an associate to Sundar C and is known for his hilarious style of writing.

'Padikathavan' went to the floors recently and Vadivelu was assigned to play the comedian and few scenes were also shot. Rumors are agog that due to some undisclosed reasons, Vadivelu has opted out of the project. This sure would be a huge blow to the project.

Search is on for a comedian to replace him. Interestingly Suraj and Vadivelu came together to render one of the best comedy sequences last year in 'Thalainagaram'. Vadivelu's character as Naai Sekar was a riot and won many accolades.
