Is Vadivelu acting in '2.0'? Here is the truth

Last week it was speculated that Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu will be acting with Superstar Rajinikanth in '2.0' directed by Shankar. The speculation emerged as Vadivelu revealed that he was waiting for the call from Shankar in his latest interview for a Tamil weekly.
However now official sources close to the '2.0' team have clarified that Vadivelu was not even approached for the 400 crore budgeted sequel of the 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran'.
The iconic comedian was apparently referring to the much anticipated sequel of 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' which is touted to be produced by Shankar's 'S Pictures banner.
