Legendary comedian Vadivelu over the years has become a part of life as he is the dominant figure in most of the memes created in Tamil. However his film career has been shaky for over a decade now.
He was to have made a strong comeback with 'Imsai Arasan 24 aam Pulikesi' produced by Shankar which was the planned sequel to the best film in his career 'Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi' released in 2006. But Vadivelu walked out of the project midway due to creative differences with director Chimbu Devan.
After facing a red card from the Producer's council, Vadivelu then starred in 'Naai Sekhar Returns' which released in December last and flopped miserably. The multi-talented actor is currently starring in 'Chandramukhi 2' directed by P. Vasu and Mari Selvaraj's 'Maamannan' on which he is banking for a true comeback.
Meanwhile Vadivelu himself confirmed that he is teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for a film next. Now it is reported that he has been replaced with another actor in the new film produced and directed by Arumuga Kumar. The reason cited is that the Vaigai Puyal asked for a very big remuneration which went out of the budget and also due to the box office result of the senior actor's latest film.
