Vadivelu in a Jiiva film, for the first time

After Jiiva, who is all set to continue his spell of success after SMS and Thenavattu, has signed the dotted line for a film with his dad. Producer RB Choudary of Supergood Films will produce his next flick, Katcheri, in which the actor teams up once again with his Thenavattu heroine, Poonam Bajwa.

For the first time, Jiiva will get to team up with Vadivelu for the comedy protions of the film, which is said to be a full length entertainer. The movie has been written and directed by Thiraivannan, a debutant. A former assistant to Bhoopathy Pandian and Seeman, the director is said to have insisted on casting Jiiva for the role as he completely fit the bill.

The film, whose shoot began last month, will be shot in Chennai, Ooty, Kumbakonam and Australia. Music for the film has been composed by Imman.

With his Siva Manasula Shakthi just having completed 100 successful days, here’s wishing the actor more success in his career and general, and with this film, in particular reference.
