Actor Vadivelu is one of the top comedians of Tamil cinema, and has been in the industry for more than three decades. The comedian was last seen in movies like Mersal, Sivalinga etc before the Imsai Arasan sequel issues prevented him from acting further.

While it has been expected that Vadivelu will return to acting with Kamal Haasan starrer Thalaivan Irukindran, it was reported that Vadivelu will make his debut in the digital platform soon, and now an official update is out on the same.

Director Suraaj, who has worked with Vadivelu in movies like Marudhamalai, Thalainagaram and lastly in Kaththi sandai has revealed in a latest interview that he had narrated a horror comedy story to Vadivelu for a feature film, and as Vadivelu suggested him to make it in a web series format, Suraaj converted it into a 9 episode web series. This horror comedy will be Vadivelu's first web series and the actor is in talks with Amazon prime and Hotstar for producing the series, revealed Suraaj.
