Vadivelu's daughter Kalaivani's marriage was held in a grand manner in Madurai the hometown of the veteran comedy actor. Vadivelu was seen in a silk shirt and dhoti showing hospitality to those who graced the occassion at N.S. Nadar Chandrammal Marriage Mahal.
The groom R. Ramalingam is said to be a businessman and V. Kalaivani is the younger daughter of the Vaigai Puyal. On behalf of the Nadigar Sangam actor Poochi Murugan attended the wedding.
