Vadivelu is all set to return to cinema with multiple Tamil films after a hiatus. One of his upcoming films is 'Maamannan' co-starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahad Faasil and Keerthy Suresh. The much-awaited movie is directed by Mari Selvaraj and has music by AR Rahman. It was a working birthday for the veteran at the 'Maamannan' sets.

Director Mari Selvaraj, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, and Fahadh Faasil along with the crew of 'Maamannan' happily celebrated Vadivelu's birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony. Vadivelu reportedly plays Udhay's father in the film and his role will be a crucial one. The shooting is currently underway in Salem and will be wrapped up soon.

Vadivelu is also playing the lead role in 'Naai Sekar Returns', which is directed by Suraaj, and the makers have shared a special poster yesterday to wish the actor on his birthday. The post-production work of the movie is under process.
